Poplar Beach is a picturesque public beach that is located just off of Poplar Point Drive in the city of Kelowna, British Columbia. it lies on the shores of Okanagan Lake in the world-famous Okanagan Valley. The beach features idyllic views of the lake and its surrounding mountains and has unique smooth stones covering its shore. Poplar Beach features nothing in terms of amenities but is an excellent spot for a swim or a picnic and provides a quiet break from the busier beaches of Kelowna.

Fuller Road Beach, Kelowna

Fuller Road Beach is a small park located in Kelowna, British Columbia that provides beach access to beautiful Okanagan Lake. It is situated in an area of Kelowna known as the Lower Mission and is just one of many beach access points that lie along the popular Lakeshore Drive. The park features a swing set, a small playground, and a picnic table. For a fun adventure, try renting one of the local Lime E-scooters and make Fuller Road Beach a stopover on your Lakeshore Drive beach hopping cruise.

Braeloch Road Beach, Kelowna

Braeloch Road Beach is a lake access point that is located in the beautiful Lakeshore Drive area of the city of Kelowna, British Columbia. It is one of many beaches and lake access points that are situated in this popular tourist and resort spot. The beach sits in a quiet neighborhood and features a nice sandy beach and picnic tables. Though Braeloch Road Beach doesn’t have much in terms of amenities it is an excellent place for a family picnic or doing some paddleboarding.

Hobson Beach Park, Kelowna

Lakeshore Road in Kelowna, British Columbia is abundant in beautiful beaches and Hobson Beach park is surely one of them. This Okanagan park is mostly undeveloped but does have some picnic tables and colorful Adirondack chairs for lounging. The beach is not only great for family picnics but provides a great place for swimming, floating, kayaking and is part of the Kelowna Paddle Trail. The trail is a 27 km shoreline paddle that features 20 beaches and parks, 3 lakefront resorts, and 2 bird sanctuaries.

Evely Recreation Site, BC

The Evely Recreation Site is located on one of the Okanagan Valley’s most scenic roads, which goes by the name of Westside Road. It is situated between Vernon and Kelowna, British Columbia, and is a great beach and camping destination to visit during your time in the valley. Evely Recreation Site has over 50 campsites and charges a small daily fee to use them and can only be rented on a “first come first serve basis” meaning there is no way to make reservations. Each campsite is equipped with a flat greenspace for tents, picnic tables, and firepits. Most of the sites are lakefro nt and have direct access to the beach on Okanagan Lake.

Bluebird Beach Park, Kelowna

Bluebird Beach Park is situated In the beautiful city of Kelowna, British Columbia along the popular Lakeshore Road, which is a popular lakefront walking and biking area that has many different beach and lake access points. The park itself is 3.6 acres in size and features more than 705 feet of gorgeous white sand beach. It is a new park, so it is still kind of rough, but it does have the bare amenities like washrooms and parking.

Marina Park, West Kelowna

Marina Park is part of the Gellatly Bay area in the city of West Kelowna, British Columbia. The park is situated on the shores of the popular vacation destination known as Okanagan Lake. It features a nice sandy beach, covered picnic tables, a grassy play area, washrooms, and an excellent playground for the kids. Gellatly Bay Park

Gellatly Bay Park is an attraction that is part of a 2 km long waterfront promenade in the Gellatly Bay community of West Kelowna, British Columbia. The walkway boasts several beaches and parks along the way and is a fantastic place for walking and biking. The park itself features the Gellatly Aquatic Park where there are public diving boards, zip lines that are built on a wooden dock. There is also a small cove with a nice sandy beach in the park which is great for swimming and cooling off in Okanagan Lake.

Osprey Park, West Kelowna

Osprey Park is a small public green space in West Kelowna, British Columbia that is situated on a gorgeous lagoon on Okanagan Lake. The park is ideal for spotting some of the Okanagan Valley’s unique birds and wildlife. It features a small sandy cove looking out onto Green Bay which is perfect for launching a kayak or SUP paddleboard but due to its swampy environment, it isn’t a great swimming spot. But it does feature a small children's playground and is a quiet and tranquil place to relax.

Pritchard Park in West Kelowna, British Columbia is a fairly large park that features plenty of convenient amenities including a picture-perfect sandy beach, a volleyball court, picnic tables, benches, a playground, washrooms, and a nice dock that is great for sunbathing and jumping in the water for a swim. It has plenty of green space for family gatherings and the beach provides an excellent place for water activities like swimming, SUP paddleboarding, Kayaking.

The beach itself doesn’t feature any amenities aside from a couple of benches that the lake. That being said the park does feature a lovely sandy beach and beautiful views looking out at Okanagan Lake towards the city of Kelowna.

Dewdney Road Beach #4 is one of five public beach access points along Dewdney Road in the Mckinley Landing community of Kelowna, British Columbia. It provides beach-goers with a lovely park area that is equipped with very few amenities but it is the perfect spot to spend the day swimming at Okanagan Lake. Parking is limited and it is a fairly small park that is wedged in between residential homes but provides enough space for a nice private family picnic or BBQ. It features green park space, picnic tables, and a small rocky beach with great views of Okanagan Lake.
