San Pancho or San Francisco as it is technically known is an idyllic town that is situated in the Riviera Nayarit region of Mexico. San Pancho is fairly close to Puerto Vallarta and its slightly more popular neighbor, Sayulita. With an even more relaxed vibe than Sayulita, the village attracts visitors looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busier areas in Jalisco and Nayarit. In the downtown center, you will find a colorful vibrancy of artwork and a whole host of restaurants, cafes, and bars, as well as local artisans who are selling unique handmade souvenirs.
