Silver Beach Provincial Park

Located at the far northern reaches of Shuswap Lake, British Columbia is the incredibly beautiful destination known as Silver Beach Provincial Park. The park is situated in the remote village of Seymour Arm at the original site of a historic gold rush town that was formerly named Ogden City. Ross Creek Community Park

Ross Creek Community Park is an idyllic beach and picnic area that is located in the beautiful lakeside village of Magna Bay, British Columbia. The park features over 200 meters of sandy beach situated on the shores of Shuswap Lake. The park also boasts a great picnic area, outhouses, and a large parking lot for your convenience. Aside from the main beach, there are several private coves that can be accessed using a short hiking trail which eventually leads to Ross Creek. This park is abundant in beauty and is a must-visit stop on your visit to the Shuswap region of Canada.

Magna Bay Community Park

Magna Bay Community Park is a lovely swimming and picnic area that is situated along the beautiful shores of Shuswap Lake, British Columbia. It is one of the most popular spots in Magna Bay and is a great place for family picnics and days at the beach. The park features over 100 meters of sandy beach, picnic tables, outhouses, and a parking lot. The park also boasts a convenient public boat launch and dock and is an excellent spot to launch kayaks or paddleboards.

Lakeview Community Park, Anglemont

Lakeview Community Park is a waterfront public beach and green space that is situated in the small village of Anglemont, British Columbia. The park lies on the pristine shores of beautiful Shuswap Lake and is the ideal family picnic and swimming spot. The water is crystal clear and the beach itself is over 200 meters long and is comprised of a combination of rocks and sand. It features picnic tables, benches, an outhouse, as well as garbage, and recycling bins.

Sandy Beach, Blind Bay

Sandy Beach is one of two main beaches that are situated in the wonderful lakeside village of Blind Bay, British Columbia. Roy Sharp Community Park, Shuswap

Roy Sharp Community Park is situated along Sunnybrae-Canoe Point Road on the shores of gorgeous Shuswap Lake in British Columbia. The park was named as a dedication to a prominent Sunnybrae community member named Roy Sharp, who tragically passed away on May 6, 2017, during the Robinson Creek landslide. The park features crystal clear water and a beautiful beach that is a combination of sand and rocks. it also boasts amenities such as outhouses, picnic tables, benches, a parking lot and a wheelchair friendly trail. Overall the park is a great place for a day at the beach for a family picnic.

Canoe Beach, Salmon Arm

Though generally considered part of the city of Salmon Arm, the beach is actually located in the small lakefront village of Canoe, BC. The beach is just a short drive west from Salmon Arm and is one of the most beautiful and sought-after white-sand beaches in the Shuswap region. Rocky Point Community Park, Blind Bay

Rocky Point Community Park is a must-visit beach that is situated in the idyllic lakefront village of Blind Bay, British Columbia. It lies on the shores of gorgeous Shuswap Lake and is the perfect spot for swimming, kayaking, or paddleboarding. The park is located at the tip of Reedman Point where beachgoers will enjoy excellent views of Copper Island and the surrounding area. There is also a short hiking trail that leads to a great view of Tappen Bay and Salmon Arm. There is a playground as well making Sunnybrae Park an excellent place to spend the day with the kids.

Sicamous Beach Park is a popular lakefront destination within the Shuswap region of British Columbia, Canada, and features a spectacular powder-white beach known as Silver Sands Beach, along with the crystal clear waters of Shuswap Lake. There is a designated swimming area that is great for a picnic or family beach day. There is also a playground, a water park, picnic tables, a volleyball court, and washrooms. Within the park, there are bushes of wild raspberries for the picking if you visit at the right time of year.

Meeks Point, Shuswap

Situated near the picture-perfect village of Sorrento, British Columbia is the gorgeous beach called Meeks Point. It is a large beach with beautiful sand that juts out into the massive body of water known as Shuswap Lake. The beach itself protrudes so much that there had to be a light installed so that boat doesn’t run aground. You can be certain that daredevils have dove off of the light many times before. Meeks Point is a great place to take the family for a fun-filled beach day.
