Gallagher Lake is a small but beautiful body of water situated on the outskirts of the town of Oliver. Located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, British Columbia this natural spring-fed lake boasts dramatic mountain settings and incredible turquoise water.

The landscape around the lake is mainly desert and as such, it is packed full of fun activities like hiking, biking, and wine tours. Many world-class wines are produced in Oliver and it has been aptly dubbed “the wine capital of Canada”.

How to Get to Gallagher Lake

Stay at Gallagher Lake

Unfortunately, the lake does not have any public beaches and can only be accessed by staying at a resort called The Lodge at Gallagher Lake. The Lodge features a private sandy beach that comes equipped with an array of water sports toys for guests to use as they please. The Lodge provides a convenient stay that is the perfect jump-off point to explore the valley.
