Caribbean Villas Hotel, San Pedro

Caribbean Villas Hotel is located on the beautiful island of Ambergris Caye in the small country of Belize and is fronted by 250 feet of gorgeous white sandy beach. This resort is situated on the edge of San Pedro Town but far enough from the hustle and bustle of the busy parts to obtain peace and serenity while visiting. That being said a nice relaxed 10-minute stroll along the beach will lead you to San Pedro and its amenities such as restaurants, markets, and souvenir shops.

Dream Cabanas, Caye Caulker

Dream Cabanas is a boutique hotel with both Caribbean and European style mixed perfectly into one fantastic little hotel. It is located on Caye Caulker which is an island in the Caribbean and is one of about 450 islands in the tiny Central American country of Belize. Caye Caulker is a wonderful example of easy living and has no cars on the entire island as well as the motto “go slow”, which may be gently enforced by a local rastaman if you choose to ride your peddle bike a little too fast.

The Pelican Sunset Bar, Caye Caulker

The Pelican Sunset Bar is located on the beautiful Caribbean island called Caye Caulker which is part of the country of Belize. It is a popular spot not only for its great food and all-natural tropical cocktails but also for the breathtaking sunsets that occur here every evening. The bar is situated oceanside in a shallow bay of gorgeous turquoise water and has a convenient location over the water.

Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver

Horseshoe Bay is a quaint seaside village in West Vancouver with picture-perfect scenery of Howe Sound and its surrounding islands. The village is home to a BC Ferries terminal that happens to connect the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada with Vancouver Island via ocean ferry. Horseshoe Bay is located at the western tip of West Vancouver and is also the gateway to the Sea to Sky Highway that leads to Squamish, Whistler, and into the BC interior to Pemberton and Lillooet.

Nanaimo River

The Nanaimo River is situated south of the city of Nanaimo on the east coast of beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The river is abundant in swimming holes, small beaches, and lagoons that are perfect for a family picnic, or day trip. There are also many miles of great hiking trails going up and down the river that take you through the gorgeous lush green rainforest. The water is amazingly clear allowing you to seen right to the bottom in many spots and during the summer months can warm up to around 25C (77F).

Torre d'enfilació, Alcudia

Situated in the North East of the island of Mallorca, Spain on a gorgeous beach named Platja de Muro lies Torre d'enfilació. It features mysterious Egyptian-like obelisks that were said to have been built by the Spanish Navy just after the Spanish Guerra Civil. There 28 towers in total that were used for spotting submarines off the coast until better technologies made them obsolete. Now they are quite the neat tourist attraction, along with the hiking trails located throughout the sand dunes. The dunes are home to a unique ecosystem that has an interesting pine forest.

Hidden Beach, Ambergris Caye

Hidden Beach on Ambergris Caye, Belize is a secluded strip of several incredible coves with fine white sand and a quiet relaxing atmosphere than its more developed neighbor, Secret Beach. Hidden Beach is considered to be part of Secret Beach and though it requires a short walk through the jungle, it is definitely worth the time, especially if you want to get away from the hustle of the more popular beaches.

Secret Beach, Belize is a gorgeous representation of what the more touristy areas of today would’ve looked like years ago. Don’t be mistaken though, nowadays Secret Beach is starting to boom and crowds are starting to appear, that being said it is still possible to relax in peace and quiet. Platja de Formentor is a gorgeous strip of beach with lovely fine white sand. It is located along the edge of the majestic Formentor Peninsula on the island of Mallorca, Spain. The beach is surrounded by a beautiful wilderness area full of pine trees and also has goats that you’ll see almost everywhere on the island. The water is crystal clear blue is very clean and the weather is gorgeous year-round. The beach is picture perfect and has some of the most beautiful scenery that the world has to offer.

Secret Beach Cabanas, Belize

I want to start by saying that Belize is an absolutely incredible country, which is full of unique and interesting sites and attractions, but none has captured our thoughts like Secret Beach. We found out about Secret Beach by looking at a map and checking for new places that we could explore with our golf cart rental. For those who don’t know golf carts and bicycles are the two main modes of transportation on the island, which definitely helps maintain the relaxed vibes.
