Kay Falls is a 187-foot waterfall that is a relatively unknown and underrated and is situated along the Trans-Canada Highway just outside of Sicamous and Revelstoke, British Columbia. It is just a 2-minute hike from the highway and greets visitors with an impressive and powerful flow of water that rushes down from the dramatic Monashee Mountain range. Upon walking into the park you’ll be blown away by the sheer force of the falls as well as mesmerized by the splendid lush green environment that is a byproduct of the constant condensation created by them.

3 Valley Gap Heritage Ghost Town is located at the head of Three Valley Lake in the spectacular Monashee Mountains of the Kootenays region of British Columbia. It is surrounded by steep mountain peaks that carry snow on their tops for much of the summer and gush with waterfalls from the spring runoff. With the European style, Chateau in the foreground, and the dramatic mountains, waterfalls, and lake in the background the area resembles something you would possibly see in Switzerland.

Rainbow Falls is a sight to behold with its spectacular and powerful waterfall raging down the mountain, being fed by Spectrum Creek which comes from Spectrum Lake. The falls are located in the spectacular and remote Monashee Provincial Park, British Columbia. Rainbow Falls is one of many incredible attractions throughout the park and is quite a long drive from civilization to get there, so making them one stop on your hiking journey would probably make the most sense.

Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park is a great day-use park situated in the Fraser Valley in between the cities of Chilliwack and Hope, British Columbia, Canada, and around 1.5 hours to Vancouver. It is tucked up against the massive alpine mountain range known as the Northern Cascades. It features a picnic area for families as well as a short hiking trail that leads to a gorgeous 60-meter waterfall that gets its name for the obvious reason that the cascading water resembles a brides veil

The Nanaimo River is situated south of the city of Nanaimo on the east coast of beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The river is abundant in swimming holes, small beaches, and lagoons that are perfect for a family picnic, or day trip. There are also many miles of great hiking trails going up and down the river that take you through the gorgeous lush green rainforest. The water is amazingly clear allowing you to seen right to the bottom in many spots and during the summer months can warm up to around 25C (77F).

Situated in the North East of the island of Mallorca, Spain on a gorgeous beach named Platja de Muro lies Torre d'enfilació. It features mysterious Egyptian-like obelisks that were said to have been built by the Spanish Navy just after the Spanish Guerra Civil. There 28 towers in total that were used for spotting submarines off the coast until better technologies made them obsolete. Now they are quite the neat tourist attraction, along with the hiking trails located throughout the sand dunes. The dunes are home to a unique ecosystem that has an interesting pine forest.

Hidden Beach is considered to be part of Secret Beach and though it requires a short walk through the jungle, it is definitely worth the time, especially if you want to get away from the hustle of the more popular beaches.
