Meadows in the Parkway is a winding 26 km road that takes you from the bottom of the valley near Revelstoke, BC all the way up to the summit of Mount Revelstoke National Park where you can start your fun-filled hiking adventure. Start your scenic journey at the park’s bottom entrance and enjoy the stunning views that get better and better the closer you get to the summit. There are a few designated lookouts and viewpoints that have parking lots long with seating areas with benches where you can take in the views of Mount Begbie and the dramatic Monashee Mountain range

Begbie Falls is a popular waterfall attraction, beach, and camping area which is located in the picturesque mountain town of Revelstoke, British Columbia. The falls are situated at the exit of Begbie Creek where it flows out into Upper Arrow Lake which is part of the gorgeous Shuswap region of the province. Begbie Creek is the result of glacial runoff that comes from the 2,733 m (8,967 ft) behemoth of a mountain known as Mount Begbie, which contains a subarctic climate and carries snow on its peaks year-round.

It is just a 2-minute hike from the highway and greets visitors with an impressive and powerful flow of water that rushes down from the dramatic Monashee Mountain range. Upon walking into the park you’ll be blown away by the sheer force of the falls as well as mesmerized by the splendid lush green environment that is a byproduct of the constant condensation created by them.

Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park is a great day-use park situated in the Fraser Valley in between the cities of Chilliwack and Hope, British Columbia, Canada, and around 1.5 hours to Vancouver. It is tucked up against the massive alpine mountain range known as the Northern Cascades. It features a picnic area for families as well as a short hiking trail that leads to a gorgeous 60-meter waterfall that gets its name for the obvious reason that the cascading water resembles a brides veil

The Nanaimo River is situated south of the city of Nanaimo on the east coast of beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The river is abundant in swimming holes, small beaches, and lagoons that are perfect for a family picnic, or day trip. There are also many miles of great hiking trails going up and down the river that take you through the gorgeous lush green rainforest. The water is amazingly clear allowing you to seen right to the bottom in many spots and during the summer months can warm up to around 25C (77F).

Situated in the North East of the island of Mallorca, Spain on a gorgeous beach named Platja de Muro lies Torre d'enfilació. It features mysterious Egyptian-like obelisks that were said to have been built by the Spanish Navy just after the Spanish Guerra Civil. There 28 towers in total that were used for spotting submarines off the coast until better technologies made them obsolete. Now they are quite the neat tourist attraction, along with the hiking trails located throughout the sand dunes. The dunes are home to a unique ecosystem that has an interesting pine forest.
