The aquarium itself has a ton of neat things to see for the whole family, such as the jellyfish exhibit or the ceiling aquarium full of silvery sardines. There are also plenty of hotels, shops, and restaurants along Cannery Row, which are occupying buildings that were once fish-packing plants. Rent a bike and take the journey down the coast to Pacific Grove and Asilomar State Beach as well as the popular Pebble Beach golf course along the incredibly scenic 17-Mile Drive.

About Point Lobos State Natural Reserve
The beautiful coastal park known as Point Lobos State Natural reserve is a place that feels a million miles away from anything touristy. Walk through the woods down a path to witness the park’s dramatic, limestone point and gaze down into some gorgeous turquoise water. Scan the beautiful white sands for sea otters, harbor seals, and sea lions. If you’re lucky enough you may spot some gray whales swimming by.
If scuba diving is your thing then you’ll want to see what these amazing waters have to offer. The marine reserve has a plethora of underwater creatures like kelp, fish, nudibranchs, sea stars, and anemones.
