About Monterey, California, USA

Embraced by the Pacific on three sides, the Monterey Peninsula in California, USA offers windswept beaches, rocky coves, great seafood restaurants, fascinating historical sites, and of course the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium. The aquarium itself has a ton of neat things to see for the whole family, such as the jellyfish exhibit or the ceiling aquarium full of silvery sardines. There are also plenty of hotels, shops, and restaurants along Cannery Row, which are occupying buildings that were once fish-packing plants. Rent a bike and take the journey down the coast to Pacific Grove and Asilomar State Beach as well as the popular Pebble Beach golf course along the incredibly scenic 17-Mile Drive.
