Sanya Makes Debut at ITB Berlin, Launches 'Invite In' Cultural Tourism Initiative for Central and Eastern Europe and Influencer Recruitment Programme
Berlin, Germany, 3 March 2026 – During the 60th ITB Berlin and the Hainan (Berlin) Tourism and Culture Promotion Exchange organised by The Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sport of Hainan Province, Sanya Tourism Board formally launched its 2026 Central and Eastern European Market "Invitation" Inspection Programme, concurrently commencing recruitment for the European launch of the ‘PHOTO SANYA 2026’ Global Photography Talent Initiative. This initiative represents both a core strategy for Sanya to cultivate the Central and Eastern European and Central Asian cultural tourism markets, and a significant practical step in leveraging Sanya Free Port's open and inclusive advantages to expand the international tourism market through a tripartite strategy of "content + air routes + products".
This recruitment initiative offers exclusive slots for quality creators European travel and photography creators from. Selected participants will undertake a 5-day official itinerary in Sanya from May, 2026 , featuring complimentary accommodation, professional bilingual coordination support, and immersive experiences across Sanya's hospitality, medical wellness, duty-free shopping, and other tourism sectors .Participants may also engage in content creation incentive activities, competing for the highest content views reward , to fully appreciate the unique charm of Sanya as a world-class tropical coastal resort destination.
Application Criteria
1. Reside in Europe with a genuine, highly engaged following in photography and travel niches, demonstrating strong content dissemination influence.
2. Maintain a minimum of 10,000 followers on any overseas social media platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
3. Possess professional short-video and vlog production capabilities to deliver high-quality travel experience content.
Core Participation Requirements
During the itinerary, creators must publish no fewer than five original pieces of Sanya-related content on designated overseas social media platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. All content must uniformly include the official hashtag #VisitSanya and tag @SanyaOfficialOverseasSocialMedia to support the precise dissemination of Sanya's cultural and tourism image within the European market.
