To witness some of the best views in Keremeos and the Similkameen Valley, one must hit the Pincushion Trailhead and hike to the top of the Lower Tower Trail. From the top hikers will witness one of British Columbia’s most scenic regions in all its wonderful glory.

This moderately difficult trail takes visitors on a 5.8 km round trip adventure up a dirt road (no public vehicles) to a breathtaking radio tower lookout, where they will take in panoramic views of the valley. The hike takes around 2.5 hours to complete and can also be extended by connecting with one of the other trails on the mountain, such as the Keremeos Columns Trail.

How to Get to the Keremeos Lower Tower Trail

To reach the trail take Highway 3A north to Liddicoat Road. Keep driving till you reach the parking lot which is labeled Pincushion Trailhead on Google Maps. On the hike, there will be one fork in the road, you’ll want to keep left to reach the Telus Cell Site where the lookout is.
