About Ribbleworth Falls, Lake Country, British Columbia

Ribbleworth Falls is a gorgeous cascading waterfall located in Lake Country, British Columbia. The falls can be reached by taking the Okanagan Rail Trail from one of the two villages of Oyama or Winfield. The trail, a former train track, runs along the eastern shores of Wood Lake and provides access to lovely beaches, some of them dog-friendly. The falls are not the most spectacular in the Okanagan Valley, but they are beautiful in their own right, and getting to them is very easy making it well worth a visit. There are tidbits of information about the Kokanee salmon that live in the lake and several benches to sit on and enjoy views of the lake.
