About Limones Mayan Ruins, Quintan Roo, Mexico

Limones Mayan Ruins is a singular pyramid that is located in the small town of Limones, Mexico. It certainly isn’t the best Mayan site in Quintana Roo but is worth a visit if you’re passing by the area on highway 307. The structure is easy to miss but the entrance is completely free, so try to take the time to stop. The pyramid was restored in the year 2000 and is in good enough condition to climb to the top. From on top visitors will realize a 360 view of the jungle from the tallest structure in Limones. At the entrance, you can find souvenir stands with interesting trinkets made by a Mayan family that operates the site.
