The Pioneer Walkway is perfectly situated on the strip of land that separates the north and south ends of Osoyoos Lake, British Columbia. It is located in the exquisite Okanagan Valley which is a scenic winemaking region in Canada with some of the country’s best weather along with a Mediterranean look and feel. Osoyoos is in the South Okanagan on the border of Washington State and has by far the best weather.

The Pioneer Walkway provides a great access point for all of the town’s attractions like beaches, parks, resorts, restaurants, shops, cafes, and even a small amusement park. It is well worth checking out the walkway and its scenic views looking towards the U.S.A. Along the path are gardens with local and exotic plants, gazebo and pergola shelters, and benches with views of the lake. The path is not only great for walking but it also serves as a convenient bike path to get quickly from one end of town to the other. The path also connects to several more attractions including the Veteran’s Memorial and its awesome desert cactus garden.
