How to Get to Mascota
Mascota is a 2.5-3 hour drive from Puerto Vallarta and a half-day drive from Guadalajara. To get there you’ll need to have a car or take a bus from either city. There isn’t much useful info on how to catch the bus from PV, but we managed to pull it off without a hitch.
The bus to Mascota is called the ATM Transportes. There is only one terminal and it is located on the corner of Calle Havre and Lucerna in the Diaz Ordaz neighborhood of the city. Getting a ticket will be easy and the buses leave at several different times during the day.
