About Yelapa, Jalisco
The Yelapa Greenview Airbnb is located in the lush jungle-covered mountains of Jalisco, Mexico in the remote boat-in-only town of Yelapa. The town is a vacationer’s hideaway and gives tourists the opportunity to witness the authentic Mexican way of life. Yelapa is perhaps most well-known for its breathtaking waterfall (Cascada de Yelapa) and pristine beach (Playa Yelapa). There are no cars in Yelapa and as such visitors must wander cobblestone and jungle paths to get from A to B. Yelapa is completely surrounded by the jungle which means the town has a ton of unique flora and fauna available for your viewing pleasure. There are quaint restaurants, shops, and stores that further add to Yelapa's old-school Mexican charm.
About Yelapa Greenview Airbnb
The building has 4 total units which are all available for rent on Airbnb. Greenview unit #3 is the unit we are reviewing but all of the units are beautiful and well worth the money. Each unit provides different views of the jungle and #3 has its own private patio that provides epic panoramic views of the bay and the Pacific Ocean. Every condo at Greenview is in great shape and they are all brand new, including fixtures and appliances. The units come equipped with full kitchens, private bathrooms, high-speed WIFI, and air conditioning. The #3 unit is quite breezy and as such AC is only available for May to October from 8 pm to 7 am and any extra use will come at a fee of $25 USD per day.
There is a single access point for all of the units that is private and secure and each unit has its own main door. Greenview is only a 5-minute walk from downtown and a 10 - 15 minute walk from the main beach. The building is in an excellent location in a peaceful and quiet area that is also close to everything.
As we mentioned earlier there are no cars in Yelapa only horses, donkeys, and ATVs so getting around usually requires a lot of walking up and down the hillside. That being said, the rental is not for everybody and those with leg or knee issues might want to consider renting somewhere else.
