Mckinley Beach is situated on the uber-popular Okanagan Lake, British Columbia, and has picture-perfect surroundings and brilliant waters. It lies just a few minutes from Kelowna and has been a go-to place for local residents for many years, but more recently it has been developed into a gorgeous beachfront resort community. Houses with expansive lake views are being built into the side of the mountain and they come at a pretty penny(not cheap) too.
Though McKinley Beach is being developed in order to cater to the wealthy right now it is still a great place to bring the kids for a nice family picnic and a swim in the lovely Okanagan Lake water. That being said, with all of the construction going on it is sure to get busier as time goes by. So go check out McKinley Beach in the Okanagan Valley before it turns into a bustling tourist trap.
