Relax and enjoy the tranquility of British Columbia’s gorgeous Slocan Lake by adding Slip Day Park to your travel itinerary. it is located in the former mining community of Silverton, one of three small communities in the area, the other two being New Denver and Slocan. This day park offers a great place to relax and watch the sunset after a long day hiking in the adventure-filled mountain ranges of the West Kootenays.

The beach itself is composed of rocky spots and a decent-sized sandy section perfect for taking a dip. The park features a large green space which is perfect for family gatherings. Surrounding the beach are the incredible Selkirk Mountain Ranges, which include Mt. Denver and Valhalla Provincial Park.
