To fully take in the beauty of Skaha Lake, one must visit the lovely Sudbury Beach Park. Located in the city of Penticton, British Columbia, this local gem is perfect for day use and has a beautiful red sand beach.
Activities at the beach include sunbathing, swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding.
Sudbury Park has some good amenities and during the day there is a concession and public washroom. The park also has a few convenient picnic tables and benches. There is also a large firepit for public use to be used during the low seasons when there aren’t any fire bans.
Overall Sudbury Beach is an excellent place to spend the day having a picnic with the family and enjoying the plentiful Okanagan Valley sunshine.
