Westminster Community Park is one of seven beaches that is located in the lakeside Sicamous neighborhood known as Swansea Point. It features a beautiful white sand beach looking out onto the gorgeous Mara Lake in the Shuswap region of British Columbia, Canada. The park has all the amenities including an outhouse, picnic tables, charcoal BBQ pits, and a rustic bar table for four made by a local using a tree.
Westminister Community Park is the perfect place to bring the family for the day and have a beach BBQ or just to go swimming, SUP paddleboarding, or kayaking.
If you happen to show up for a day of relaxation at Westminster Community Park and find that it is already taken, just remember there are six other public beaches on Swansea Point alone, so take a drive around the neighborhood and you're sure to find your own paradise.

Sicamous is known as the Houseboat Capital of Canada and every summer tons of vacationers flock to the region to rent a houseboat and enjoy the great weather of Mara Lake and its larger neighbor Shuswap Lake. The two lakes are joined at the Sicamous Narrows and it is used by boaters to navigate between lakes.
